The Alma Fuerte Community in Numbers

Here is a quick visual guide to learn a little bit more about our community.

This year, as our first, we started with two Kinder/TK classes, a 1st and 2nd grade.

Our largest ethnic community is latino, compromising 40% of our families. Our second biggest community, making up about 22% of our student body, identify themselves as African American/ Black.

Almost 50% of our community comes from right here in Altadena, with another 45% coming from Pasadena.

Our male to female ration is almost 1:1, with just a few more male students at 54% of our student body.

50% of our students qualify for free and reduced lunch.

1/3 of our students participate in our bussing program.

Currently 20% of our students have exceptional needs.

Alma Fuerte is proud to be a diverse community that is representative of our surroundings. We look forward to continuing to work on inclusion and celebrating our community!
