We hope you've been enjoying the cooler fall weather. We have some updates and news to share with you.
Trunk or Treat
Thank you to those that signed up to decorate their cars for Trunk or Treat on Friday October 29th; we have 20 cars signed up! This event will take place at the end of the day which means that we will not have our regular carline. Please park and join us on the playground! If you or your child will be dressing up for Halloween, please remember that blood/ weapons are not appropriate.
Fall Festival
We are excited to be bringing back our Fall Festival this year featuring an Entrepreneur's Market! Students and their parent's can sign up to host a business booth of their choosing. Please fill out this interest form to help us get planning!
Prop 39 Forms
Every Year, Alma Fuerte must request space from Pasadena Unified School District for the following school year, and that process starts now. Even though we are the sole users of the Edison building, we must still continue to show growth and interest in our program. For this, we need your help!
Please sign and return the Prop 39 Form (in your child's backpacks) as soon as possible or at the latest by October 23rd as we must process them and enter them into a different format. As a community we must show that there are enough families interested in enrolling/continuing at Alma Fuerte to justify the use of our campus. This means that every single child counts!
This is also a great opportunity for our current families to help recruit new families for the next school year, ensuring our growth and success. If you have neighbors, friends, or other family members that are interested in joining Alma Fuerte please have them fill out a form. Remember, this form does not guarantee enrollment into Alma Fuerte, it simply shows the school district that our school is growing and in need of space. Trunk or Treat
Gracias a quienes se inscribieron para decorar sus autos para Trunk or Treat el viernes 29 de octubre; ¡Tenemos 20 autos inscritos! Este evento se llevará a cabo al final del día, lo que significa que no tendremos nuestra línea de autos habitual. ¡Estacione y únase a nosotros en el patio de recreo! Si usted o su hijo se van a disfrazar para Halloween, recuerde que disfrazes con sangre/ armas no son apropiados.
Festival de Otoño
¡Estamos emocionados de traer de vuelta nuestro Festival de Otoño este año con un Mercado de Emprendedores! Los estudiantes y sus padres pueden inscribirse para albergar un stand de negocios de su elección. ¡Complete este formulario de interés para ayudarnos a planificar!
Formularios de la Prop 39
Cada año, Alma Fuerte debe solicitar espacio al Distrito Escolar Unificado de Pasadena para el siguiente año, y ese proceso comienza ahora. Aunque somos los únicos usuarios de nuestro edificio, debemos seguir mostrando crecimiento e interés en nuestro programa. ¡Para esto, necesitamos tu ayuda!
Por favor, firme y devuelva el formulario de la Prop 39 (a continuación y en las mochilas de su hijo) lo antes posible o, a más tardar, el 23 de octubre, ya que debemos procesarlo e ingresarlo en un formato diferente. Como comunidad debemos demostrar que hay suficientes familias interesadas en inscribirse / continuar en Alma Fuerte para justificar el uso de nuestro campus. ¡Esto significa que cada niño cuenta!
Esta también es una gran oportunidad para que nuestras familias actuales ayuden a reclutar nuevas familias para el próximo año escolar, asegurando nuestro crecimiento y éxito.
