100 Days Brighter

This past week our class had our 100 Days of School celebration! Even though we had already passed the official 100 days, we celebrated a little bit later to give us more time to complete our 100 items project. Our class has been working really hard to count and write numbers to 100. We have been exploring number patterns and different ways of counting, such as by 10’s, 5’s, and 2’s.

We started our celebration with a presentation of our 100 item projects! Students were wonderfully creative and put together amazing creations using only 100 items. We had sticker posters, collages, t-shirts, and lego structures to name a few! Students practiced their public speaking skills and showed off their creativity during their presentations.

Our class took the 100 exercise challenge, created self portraits of themselves at age 100, and wrote stories about what they would do if they had 100 elephants.

Our class also had several friends dress up as though they were 100 years old which was a huge hit with everyone!
